GET YOUR HOPES UP

      As I am writing this today, its Rosh Hashanah! Celebration of the Hebrew New Year, The Year Of Trumpets. The traditions are amazing for the Jewish people, I am just learning how to implement this beautiful New Year tradition! The main piece that we are doing is { Reflect, Repent, Renew/Refresh. This celebration is to bring sweetness to our world, eating apples with honey. Next year I plan to do more of the celebration.

Sometimes it’s easy to think that God favors certain people, or that the situation that you are going through is somehow beyond God’s ability to fix it. I know these feelings all too well. Your Unique Plans & Purpose ♥

 

Have you ever been in a place in life where you have no idea what’s next?

If you can’t see your next steps clearly and feel a bit lost on the path God has you on, I want to tell you that I know exactly how it feels. Floaty, purposeless and even scary at times. Whenever I find myself in that place, it’s easy to get anxious about what’s coming, or maybe even hung up on trying to figure out what I’m “supposed to be doing.” Do you know the feeling?

Although it’s not fun, over the years I’ve learned that God does in fact sometimes hide the whole plan from me.

Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” This scripture showed me that there are seasons when all we know is the next step (He’s a lamp to our feet), and other seasons when we can see far out to where we’re going (He’s a light to our path).

So then what are we supposed to do in the foggy seasons??

Courage is overrated.

At least, overestimated.

…you walk up to a circle of strangers and introduce yourself.
